strdup() Function

The strdup() function allocates sufficient memory for a copy of the string s, does the copy, and This function returns a pointer to a null-terminated byte string. The pointer may subsequently be used as an argument to the function free.

If an error occurs, a null pointer is returned and errno may be set.
